Let's Get Started!

1. Open the template in PSP, delete the copyright layer, go to Image Canvas Size and change it to 600x600.

2. Paste a paper of choice as a new layer right above the background layer. Apply mask of choice drop the opacity down to around 82.

3. Highlight the wordart layer on the template, go to selections select all, selections float, selections defloat. Use the airbrush tool to color the words a color from your tube. Selections none. Then apply a gradient glow size 3.00 color black.

4. Highlight the Circle layer, go to selections select all, selections float, selections defloat. Paste paper 2 as a new layer, resize by 75% all layers NOT checked. Selections invert and press delete on your keyboard. Selections none and dropshadow. Lower the opacity down to 60. Delete the original layer.

5. Highlight the Rectangle layer, go to selections selct all, slections float, slections defloat. Paste paper 4 as a new layer, resize by 75% all layers NOT checked. Selctions invert and press delete on your keyboard. Selections none and dropshadow. Lower the opacity down to 50. Delete the original layer.

6. Highlight the Star layer, go to selections select all, slections float, slections defloat. Add a new layer floodfill with black, selections modify, contract by 4, floodfill with the same color you used on the wordart layer. Selections modify, contract by 4, floodfill with black. Delete the original layer, selections none. Dropshadow.

7. Open a blank canvas 400x400. Open the wordart by Tracy, paste the circle layer on your canvas resize by 50% three times, add a gradient glow with the color we used earlier. Paste wordart RockStar onto the canvas, resize by 50% twice then 75% once. Sharpen and place in the middle of the circle, again add the gradient glow. Merge layers, copy and paste on to your tag in the middle of your star resize by 75% sharpen.

Paste your tube and dropshadow

8. Paste one of the musical notes as a new layer, resize to different sizes and paste them around the tag. Once you are happy with the amount/placement of notes merge down until they are all on one layer rename notes.

9. Add your name, I used font Megadeth, fill black outline the same color Ive been using. Then duplicated the name, resized the duplicate by 90% and dropped the opacity on the original to 58, move the top layer a bit to the right and down. dropshadow the top layer.

Animation

Animation I used two filter, DSB Flux Bright Noise for the musical notes and Alien SKin Xeneofex 2 Constellation on the mask.

1. First highlight the mask background, go to Effects, xeneofex2 constellation and apply the settings below.

2.  Next highlight the notes layer, go to effects, DSB FLux Bright noise and apply the settings below.

3. Go to Edit CopyMerged and paste as a new animation in AS

4. Back in PSP, hit your undo arrow three times (your mask layer should now be the active layer) go back to xenofex2 constellation and apply the filter again hitting Random Seed once. Make the Notes layer active again and apply Bright Noise filter again, changing the Intensity to 30. Edit copymerged, Paste in AS after current frame.

5. One last time in PSP, hit undo arrow three times, apply xenofex constellation to mask, again hitting the random seed button once. On your notes layer again apply Bright Noise, this time changing Intensity to 35. Edit CopyMerged and paste in AS after current frame.

Check to make sure your animation is running smooth, resize and save.
